Welcome to Mrs. Laskowski’s Class and welcome to the Middle School!  I am excited to have you in my classroom, and I hope you are looking forward to the coming year.

I began my teaching career right here at EMS during the 1999-2000 school year. I had the opportunity to complete part of my student teaching requirement here and never left! It is truly an exceptional place.  My daughter, Morgan, is an Edwardsburg graduate, so I have experience on both sides of the table.

I will be team teaching in some classes this year and offering Resource classes for all of my students.

Resource:  Resource class is an opportunity to get small group and one-on-one re-teaching and/or remediation on deficit skills.  Our main focus is to master those skills that make reading, writing, and math a little more challenging. Some days students may have a little time to work on part of their homework, but most days students will not be able to finish homework during resource hour.  Students should anticipate having homework many days during the week.

Team Teaching:  Teaming classes are general education classes that I push into in order to assist your student.
