Dear Students and Parents,

Welcome to Social Studies 7 Ancient World History. I am looking forward to work with you and your child. I am excited to star the new year.

Like the students, I received my K-12 education through Edwardsburg Public Schools.  Yes, I am an Eddie!   I received my undergraduate degree from Michigan Technological University. Hobbies I enjoy are coaching volleyball, fishing and camping and spending time with my family.

This school year we will be taking a journey together.  Using our imaginations, we will travel back in time to learn about Paleolithic and Neolithic man, the agricultural revolution, and the early civilizations of Mesopotamia, Egypt, India, China, Greece and Rome. We will look at the accomplishments of each of these civilizations and their legacies.

Needed Materials

Please note that all students need an 11”x 9” inch or 11” by 8 ½ “ three subject notebook (i.e. Five Star or similar with a plastic cover) and a package of colored pencils. In the notebook, students should keep all notes and journal writings. If acquiring a notebook is a problem, please let me know.
