Welcome to Mrs. Harley's Resource class!  I am excited to have you in my classroom and hope you are looking forward to a great school year!

 

I began teaching in the South Bend Community School Corporation in 2003 prior to coming to Edwardsburg Intermediate in 2006, where I remained as a looping teacher for 11 years.  In the 2017-2018 school year, I made the move to the middle school.  

 

I will be team teaching in some math and English and reading classes this year as well as offering resource class to all of my students.  During team taught classes, I will push into the General Education classrooms and help assist students along side the classroom teacher.  While my resource class, is an assigned class students will come to and receive a grade on the work given over instructed deficit skills.  Resource class is NOT a homework class or a study hall.  There will be some days homework time is provided, but is not guaranteed daily.  Every student should expect to have some degree of homework each night while at the middle school.
