8th grade U.S. History
Welcome to 8th grade 19th Century Integrated U.S. History! I am so pleased to have you here with me for the next year. We have many adventures ahead of us as we study the history of our great nation.
My name is Erin Souchick. There have
been so many changes in the years that I have been teaching both here in the district as well as within my own life. In that time, I've watched the Middle School expand, the PAC be built, and gone from a since teacher desktop computer to every student having a computer in his hands. In my own life, I've graduated from graduate school, married, and had 2 wonderful children who are now students in this district too!
The one thing that hasn't changed in those years is my passion and dedication to both my students and my subject. I am passionate about U.S. History and the development of our nation, but I also firmly believe that students are all individuals with unique tastes and talents. I like to offer as many opportunities as I can for students to explore those talents within my social studies realm.
I greatly look forward to getting to know each of you individually as we embark on our adventure this school year.
